“The past is history.”

This is a special time in our nation with our candidates running to become President and Vice President. Much has been said about the candidates and their family histories. Each of them has a story, their own special story. Each of you has your own story, and I have mine.
Some people have experienced pain and suffering just as some of the children you teach are now experiencing it in their homes. We can’t always do anything about the past, but together, we can influence the future. The important thing is to not be a victim of the past, but instead to remember the past, live in the present, and plan for the future. Every day is a chance for a new beginning.

Have an awesome day and a wonderful week-end. You are a difference maker.
