Today is a special day. It is known all over the world as "Good Friday." Christians all over the world remember the death of Jesus, and then they remember this Sunday, his resurrection.

There are voices from the past, the Bible, and from those we have loved, with whom we have celebrated this holiday and others. For me, it is also the birthday of my dad, and I remember on this special day his voice too. My dad, Manny, was a kind and gentle man, a hard worker, and a caring person. He grew up in Eastern Europe, became a carpenter, and emigrated to Israel—The Holy Land, to help that country survive. He later came over to the U.S. because his sister, my aunt, needed him. He met my mom, married, and had me. He had a huge impact on my life. He was a huge difference maker.

Today is a good day to remember and to hear the voices of the past…the voices that have helped shape us each to make a difference.

Each of these voices are a reminder to not falter. They are a reminder that you may fall down, but you can stand back up; and mostly they are a reminder to have faith and to believe.

Have a great day and a happy Easter.

Thank you for that reminder to remember those who have gone before us who have impacted our lives. And think how WE impact the lives of those around us ... often in ways we will never know.
Let's hope our impact will be for the good of those we encounter.

Thanks for mentioning Jesus and the true meaning of Good Friday and Easter. I believe Christians have to stand up more than ever to let our voices be heard and mute the voices that sin is okay and acceptable.

I like that you are true disciple. You never falter when you mention your Christian belief. I know that there are providers who of course are not of the Christian faith, so no matter their faith I hope they understand that you being you and appreciate you for that. I have 2 gone due to illnesses today, 2 the rest just make me feel glad I am doing this job.
Happy Easter

Thanks for reminding us of the people who make a difference in our lives. My Mom past away on April 10, 2007, and I, too, can hear her voice. She made an enormous difference in my life. Today, I am making a difference in the lives that I touch each day.

May you have a great week!
