The Fourth of July is around the corner. It is Independence Day. America is truly a beautiful land – a land of possibilities – a land of the free and the brave. You play your own unique role in the future destiny of America because of the important work that you do. During this special time, all of Appelbaum Training Institute joins me in wishing you a happy and safe holiday.
Our office team is taking a well-deserved rest starting today. You will receive messages again starting next week on Monday, July 6th.
Have a great day and a wonderful holiday. You are a difference maker.

Silence can really be golden.
A powerful tool to get children’s attention is to stop talking in the middle of a sentence. Pause. When children are quiet, continue talking.
Have a wonderful great day. You are a difference maker.

The Delaying Strategies for Power Struggles.
Students who engage in power struggles want an immediate answer right then and there. They are upset in the moment. Set an appointment to talk to them later. Here’s an example. “I can see that you are really upset about this. I will be glad to talk to you about it later. I can talk to you right after class today or I can meet with you first thing tomorrow morning. Which one works best for you?”
Have a great day. You are a difference maker.
