On those days you feel overwhelmed, it’s sometimes good to have a motto you say to yourself. A good one is, “Easy does it.” It’s a loving reminder to yourself to be gentle on yourself and those around you. You can still get everything done, but remember to pause and breathe, to stop and smile, and to even hum a favorite little tune to yourself now and then.
Have a great day. You are a difference maker.

Essy Does It! Think I'll put this on a sign and take it everywhere I go. You are so right. Everything will get done. Easy Does It! Strong words for a strong profession. Thanks Marsha
This is so true. Last week I was in an accident. A snowbank hid a hid a car and we were doomed. I was shaken up pretty bad since i was pushed down the street some and then turned and pushed into a yard and almost into a tree. The officer never spoke to me, just the other party. I left feeling so alone, so lost. The worst part was I had just dropped off a child to his preschool and had 3 other children in the vehicle with me. I have been struggling with driving and having to still take that child to his preschool. I have had to figure out that to remember to breathe, to go slow, to do it at my own pace regardless of what others have said to me regarding getting back behind the wheel. It's been a hard week for me to remain calm during the simpliest disruptive things that go on through my and the children's day. I no longer jump or gasp when someone drops a toy that makes a noise. Thanks for these very wise words.
Trying to take it easy.
Martha, I love the idea of making a sign, Easy does it.
Thanks.
To anonymous,
So sorry to hear about your accident. I am glad you are being loving to yourself. That had to be traumatic. Go easy on yourself. Thanks for sharing.
